Katy Tovey

My role as a partner in the Trowbridge office is to provide accounting and taxation support to a wide range of businesses and individuals, I really enjoy building positive relationships with my clients. I believe in delivering more than just compliance services, but transparent and relevant information to help clients fulfill goals and ambitions.

My background

I left school at 18 and started training with AAT, then onto ACCA, moving to ACA through their pathways to membership scheme. Most of my (nearly 30 year!) career has been spent working in general practice. In the last five years I had a change of direction, working in both my own practice and heading up the finance function for a fledging design and manufacturing company. During this time, the design company enjoyed exceptional growth and I thoroughly enjoyed guiding the business through that period to become a globally trading international group. The experience was fantastic and helped develop my perspective in understanding what clients want and need from their accountant.

Outside of work my three children and house renovation keep me busy, I also enjoy spending time working in the garden. If I find any spare time outside of that, I have an interest in textiles and upholstery.
