Steve Jordan

I am an Audit Partner based in the Bristol office, working with privately owned businesses and groups to deliver high-quality audits and practical insight.

I joined Monahans in February 2026 after training with Baker Tilly in Bristol as a graduate in 2009 and spending the last seven years at BDO in Bristol. During this time, I obtained my Responsible Individual (RI) licence and have signed audits across a portfolio of privately owned clients, as well as supporting on large listed and private equity-backed groups.

My background

I am a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). I have over 15 years’ experience in audit and assurance, mainly working across the South West, and also supporting UK groups with operations in the US and Europe.

My sector experience includes manufacturing, construction and materials, professional services, retail and hospitality, wholesale and distribution and technology. I also advise on financial reporting under FRS 102 and IFRS.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys long walks with his cocker spaniel, Womack, plays golf socially and makes the most of Bristol’s food festivals and live music scene. He is also a keen traveller, with favourite destinations including Bali, Cambodia and Spain.
