Helen Jones

My experience lies in general practice and online accounting, and helping businesses navigate their tax journeys. I find working with numbers a genuine joy, as well as advising clients on all the cloud solutions, apps and data processing tools that can assist their financial needs. I pride myself on treating all clients with respect, no matter their level of business acumen or tax knowledge, as it’s imperative that we help businesses of all sizes succeed.

I also work with owner-managed businesses and land and property firms, drawing on all my experience from working in and then leading the private business department of a larger firm, to tailor my advice specifically to each clients’ circumstances as I take the time to learn about what is important to them.

My background

Prior to joining McGills in 2019, I trained with and became AAT and ACCA qualified at another Gloucestershire-based practice, rising through the ranks over 20 years to become a Director as the practice merged with a top 10 firm.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog, bingeing a good box set and chocolate!
