Julie MacLachlan

I am a Senior Associate in Personal Tax based at our Trowbridge office. My primary role is to provide a tax compliance service to Monahan’s personal tax clients.

My background

I joined Monahans in 2015. My prior experience has involved working as a Tax Officer for HMRC for 11 years starting in 1978 as a school leaver, 21 years in practice with 2 different accountancy firms and a career break living in Germany for 4 years with my family for my husband’s work.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading and going to the Cinema.

  • Completion of Personal Tax Returns for clients and other tax compliance work
  • Capital Gains Tax including 60 Day UK residential property disposal reporting
  • P11D expenses and benefits reporting and advice for businesses
