Simon Cooper

I am a Chartered Accountant specialising in the Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure industry.

I enjoy helping our clients to focus on their long-term business strategy in a changing economic environment, whilst dealing with day to day management and reporting issues.

I am also responsible for helping new businesses and small businesses which are looking to grow. These businesses are so important to the local economy, so I find it very rewarding to help new businesses to get set up, including what structures to use, how to buy a business, and what they need to be thinking about day to day.

My background

I spent eight years working in forensic accountancy, before joining Monahans in 2004, where I became a partner.

As a keen advocate of the City of Bath, I was also Director of Bath Tourism Plus between 2010 and 2016, promoting Bath as a national and international tourism destination.

Outside of work, I am an avid supporter of Luton Town football club and play in a local 5-aside football team.
