Work undertaken under insolvency appointments is subject to insolvency law and regulation, Court practice notes and Statements of Insolvency Practice. Employees and directors appointed as insolvency practitioners are licensed to act in the United Kingdom by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants or the Insolvency Practitioners Association.
